How old is your dog? My chocolate Lab got scared by the noise of new gas well being drilled, jumped out of the truck (husband was talking to the engineer) and ran away. She was about 10 years old. I miss her.
It never fails to crack me up when our yellow lab, Penny, gets her dig on. She becomes so engrossed she's oblivious to all else.
