Jacob's Cave swap meet

The forecast was 95 degrees, so we were up and on the road by 6:30.  This was one big swap meet.

Road after road of stuff.

Even the cicadas were measuring things up.

There were pigeons. I even saw some fan tail ones. My late brother used to raise those.

House birds?  Yep, Parakeets too.

Tame turkeys.

Love birds!!

And then bras! 6 in a package.  If you've never seen a 42 FF you're missin' it. (That is coming from a blogger that belongs on the top line of that sign.)

I loved this vintage baby stroller. I'm pretty sure it had dry rot.

And vintage wash tubs.

We spent 3 plus hours at the hot, humid, and dusty swap meet. I came home empty handed. The blacksmith found 3 or 4 small things.

In the end it was a costly trip. We had a flat tire when we got home and the tire is ruined.

  3. Dang, you mean I missed it. I was lookinfg forward to going back. I was thinking it was next weekend. Guess what, I saw that same baby stroller there in April. I thought it was cute too and priced it. He told me 35. I thought that was too much and I really had no use for it. I was sorta thinging flower holder for the proch or something but then I have too much junk already. I bet it was surte hot. I didn;t even go to my horse show today because of this heat. Whew it was hot and our air was on the blink until late this evening. Looks like you had a great time, take care.

  5. I count it a successful swap meet when I can go home with nothing! I have too much stuff already, and could hold my own meet, I think!

  6. Oh, shoot, when I saw the heading, I was expecting some wonderful treasures.

You are such troopers to go to a swap meet in 95 degree weather.

Sorry about the tire. Not such a nice ending to your day.

  7. What a hot, humid, day for a swap meet. Those bras... lol.

Bummer on that flat tire. That did make it an expensive swap meet for sure.
