Oklahoma OK!

Last week we hitched up our little Casita and went west. It was time for the Oklahoma Blacksmiths conference. They are known as the Saltfork Craftsmen Artist-Blacksmith  Association. It was a smaller group than last year when we attended, but still a good conference.

On Saturday, I kicked  let my blacksmith out of the car at the fair grounds and went south to Edmond, for Sarah's baby shower

When I came back in the afternoon, the ladies were well into their gizzard basket making.

Mary Chris was making button bracelets  I had so much fun visiting with her and looking through her vintage collection.

The gallery held many beautiful things. A copper rose necklace by Teresa Gabrish. this one was for sale too!

Bill Kendall had this feather necklace on display.

I really liked Gary Gloden's candle holder.

 What an awesome table too!

Speaking of awesome, look at this light!  Can you believe it???

My blacksmith enjoyed helping Bob Patrick, an old friend from long ago.

Next time come back for more on the rest of our week.

Looks like you had fun. This would be an interesting festivals even if you didn't know a blacksmith. Thanks for sharing. I loved that light fixture!
