Surgery . . . it's my birthday present

Tomorrow, February 6, 2019 will be my 67th birthday.

I will have breast surgery at 10:00 am.

After the incision heals in 3 to 4 weeks. I will start radiation 5 days a week for about 4 weeks.

We pray I won't have to take Chemo, but that won't be determined until during the surgery.

Please keep me, my family, and the medical staff in your prayers.

Cancer sucks, but I am praying I will get rid of it for the best birthday present ever!

My blogger friend Valerie is fighting cancer, as well as her best friend, Vicki. Valerie has a prayer tree in her house. Follow Valerie on Our forever farm on Facebook.

Yesterday I made a prayer card for myself to send her.

She asked that I get the word out to anyone that is needing prayers.

This is for my friends, Valerie, classmate Cathy, Terry of Terry's Treasures, and fellow quilter Charlotte, who are all under going cancer treatments. WE can do this!

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Happy Birthday! I hope you don't need chemo either. But if you do, don't be afraid of it. These days they give you premeds before your chemo to help counteract the side effects. I may just be lucky but I've had no nausea and only some pain after my neulesta shot. Fatigue is really my only complaint at this point. My thoughts will be with you tomorrow.
