Vintage fabric

This is the view out my sewing window today.
Rainy.
Gloomy.
Depressing.

That is until you find this vintage 36 inch wide fabric in the bottom of your stash.
I am going to give it a try for the autograph quilt.
Off to sew now!

Nice fabrics! I love sewing when it's rainy outside. That way I've got an excuse not to run errands and stay in all day! Can't wait to see what you make with those. Jenn

Very pretty on such a gloomy day! I was at Specialty Quilts today with my friend. I picked up some fat quarters.

Very pretty vintage fabric, and anything but depressing! It's all about doing what makes us smile right now during this gloom! Enjoy. -Tammy

Gloomy days are great for sewing -- can't wait to see what you decide to do.

Did you retire this year, too?

I know nothing about quilting or sewing but I love to meet and read another ShoMe blogger! Hello Osage Bluff Quilter, I have been following you for awhile thanks to Tammy! I do have a retired husband in common with you! The retired part anyway!! Country Husband has been retired since August '07 and it seems to be workin' out just fine!!

The fabrics are really pretty. I'm in love with fabric and pick it up all the time. Problem is I never do anything with it...no time...ahh...someday.

Have a great weekend.

It's raining so hard here that it looks like night at 4:15 in the afternoon! But I spent most of the day in the sewing room so that was good. I'm baking a loaf of Dill Bread and making a chicken casserole for supper - a wonderful rainy day. blessings, marlene
