I got little Lizzie's big bed quilt back from the quilter last week. A high school friend is a long arm quilter, and I gave her the freedom to do almost anything with it. Thank you Brenda you did an awesome job!!!
I love the swirls and the fence rows.
Bigger swirls!
Brenda really made the butterfly show up with the stippling.
Her name stands out now, at first it seemed to be an optical illusion.
This is her bed that Grandpa restored. Her Daddy bought if off of craigslist for $25.
She looks pretty happy with a new big girl bed and her new pink and black quilt!

I see one lucky little girl right there! The quilting really accents everything that is so wonderful about this quilt.. love it, and that bed. Perfection :) -T
Oh, how beautiful!! What a special bed for her to have - both blanket and bed are a family treasure!
That is really beautiful. Both you and the blacksmith did a great job! Lucky Lizzie!
Lizzie is a lucky little lady to have you for a grandma. That quilt is wonderful on the black bed.
When you mentioned the name stood out, I had to squint because I did not see a name...and then, there it was, plain as day. Your friend did do a great job on the quilting, too.
What a beautiful quilt and how neat that you found that wonderful bed frame that cheap, looks perfect!
