Grandma and Grandpa's Daycare

I never remember having this kind of fun with my grandparents.  They seemed old from the time I was born. We try hard that these kids will have great memories.  So went our day . . .

Lunch on the river bank, what could be better?

Oh, Grandparenting is just wonderful. I know we enjoy it so much. It also seems like we have more time for them than we did their parents, or is that how all grandparents feel. We spend as much time with the 11 we have, as possible teaching them all we know and should have known. LOL
BlessYourHeart and oh, Happy 42:)
That's awesome!!!

What fun. I too had a great grandma and grandpa who were old and we didn't do that type of fun things, but I still have fond memories of some things like playing Chinese checkers, Crazy 8 card games, visiting a neighbor who always made me cup custard which I loved. We also got to gather eggs, ride a horse and milk cows, which was fun for a little person. Memories I will never forget.

Grandparenting is indeed awesome! Looks like you had a grand time, and they will cherish these memories, no doubt about that! I can't wait to get my grandson Liam up here to our cabin for a bit, I know he will love all the available adventures here!

You are two are great grandparents! Back in our day, it was different. Today's GP's are much younger in action and in better health.

It looks like you all had a great day.

BTW, I noticed two skinny shoots in my rain lily containers... I am excited to see what happens next.

We are all about making memories too. Spent the day with two grands at HaHa Tonka today. You guys are so lucky to be so close to the river. Looks like a lot of fun!

Looks like so much fun! I wish the water was that clear in this part of the state.

My grandparents were old, too, by the time I came along. My older sibs remember them as being fun and spending time with them (without Mom and Dad around), but my younger brother and I don't have those kind of memories.
