Valentine's Day 2010

This is what I found on my kitchen counter when I woke this morning. He didn't let me down. For 42 years now, I have gotten candy. Candy is one of my biggest weaknesses. I've tried to overcome chocolate, but I just can't kick that habit.

I thought for sure, I wouldn't get candy this year. He's retired and stays home most of the time unless we go together. It was a mystery how he had bought candy without me knowing.

Come to find out after I left for work last Friday morning, he made a very quick trip to town.

Man I love that Man!!!

It was so cold out today. The temperatures stayed around 25 all day with lots of wind. So we pretty much stayed inside. Dear hubby helped me square up my quilt and put it in the frame. So this is what my living room looks like now.
Now if I can just get my fingers, hands, and elbows conditioned overnight! Please feel free to come and help me quilt!
Check out the Blacksmith's blog too.

Great job, BT! I would come help you quilt if I lived a bit closer. Oh, I would have to learn to hand-quilt first :) Stay warm! -Tammy

I'd LOVE to help you! I need so much help, it's not even funny.
Russell Stovers is the best, isn't it. I love chocolate too and think that is my biggest addiction after I quit smoking.

No candy for me. :(

I wish I lived closer, I would love to sit and quilt with you! You could teach me and we could talk and talk. That would be fun.

Oh, how sweet that blacksmith is--sneaking out like that to make sure you got your chocolates.

How long do you think it will take you to hand quilt that? For some reason I thought you had a longarm and did your quilting on the machine. Maybe you do both. ? It looks like a good way to spend a cold winter afternoon.
