The deer sausage story is on the blacksmith's page. While you are there, become a follower too.
On a personal note, I am hoping to find time to do some paper piecing this week. I am starting an autograph quilt. The names were all written on fabric 2 1/2 years ago at a family reunion. That reunion is held every 3 years. So I really need to have it finished by June of this year!

Glad to hear that the blacksmith is feeling better.
I will be eagerly awaiting the family reunion quilt. I know you will get it finished in time.
Patti, I have no doubt you will have it ready for your reunion, with time to spare. You're fast! I'm not! :) Hope your week is going well. I hear my hubby is talking to your hubby as I type this... plotting and scheming some blacksmithing thing - we can be sure of that :)

I woul dlove to learn how to paper piece. Some say it's so easy while others complain about how difficult it is. Is there maybe a tutorial in your future?
Best of luck with your quilt. I sounds personal and wonderful!
I'm envious of your quilting skills. I'm sure you'll get it done and can't wait to see the photos of it.
