3 days until Christmas

What does Adam Puchta Norton . . . .

Pirtle Chambourcin . . .
and Les Bourgeois Riverboat Red wine . . .

All have in common? Yes they are all Missouri wines. But that's not the correct answer.
They were all enjoyed this afternoon by these two bloggers (picture taken last summer)
and their husbands.

Thanks Deanna and hubby for a very enjoyable afternoon. Good friends, good wine and good times. I love the holidays!!!

Good choices there. I like the Riverboat Red, and love visiting Pirtle's Winery in Weston at least once a year. Have you ever had their mead (honey wine)? They even have a raspberry mead (for the benefit of "red" fruit). If you ever get to this side of the state, let me know. We could go Casita'ing, visit Weston, & camp free nearby at Atchison State Fishng Lake.

Now that's the spirit!... and I hope you are told on a regular basis how wonderful you look, not even close to your (our?) age.

Happy Holidays to you and yours -

We had a great time with you and the Blacksmith. I can't believe we ONCE AGAIN forgot to take pictures! Shame on us!

Glenda, we had a bottle of the mead but didn't get around to drinking it... Maybe next time.

Have a wonderful Christmas!

And the other two wineries offer a Norton wine also. Ah, you are so lucky to be in a state where 79 vineyards offer contrasting Norton wines. Hope you have the opportunity to try Norton wines from Westphalia, Peaceful Bend, Stone Hill's Cross J, Montelle, Heinrichshaus, Blumenhof, etc.
