Today we took a little trip to Hope Missouri.
Our friend Joe is a little under the weather.
The blacksmith cut some wood yesterday. Today we got up early and he and I split it. We borrowed the son's pickup and loaded it up. Off we went to Joe and Phyllis's house. You see they were in need of wood for their outdoor furnace.
They were so tickled that we thought about them.
It gave us a warm fuzzy feeling to know that we made their day.
I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35

I am giving you a big, huge virtual hug right now ((((hug!!!))). That was very sweet and kind of both of you to do. I wish they were closer to us too... adore them both! (Besides, who wouldn't want to live in Hope?) -Tammy
Beautiful, you are living the word.
What a blessing you are being to your friends. And our Lord will bless you in return. Stay warm my friend, and be safe :0!
There oughta be more like you in the world, and there oughta be more stories like this in the news. Hoping your friend is feeling better soon -
Bravo Patti! Talking the talk is easy but walking the walk isn't. You're doing both beautifully. :) On another note I'm in your stomping grounds. Came up for a flying visit for the weekend and it snowed so much at home that we couldn't get back and now it's snowing so much here that we won't be able to get out! And I didn't bring stitching with me. :( Well, I did bring some redwork but not quilting. blessings, marlene
What wonderful friends you two are!
Now that is a real gift of love. You will be blessed.
what a wonderful thing to do! Good thing you did it yesterday and not today.
I made it to work this afternoon but the road are anything but good.
