We were rockin' and rollin' this morning. About 3:11 a 4.2 earthquake hit here.
We see no damage here at Osage Bluff.
It's a weird spring here, first we had the devastating tornado EF5 in Joplin.
Today we had an earthquake, and they are saying the Missouri River here could flood beyond the 1993 flood level.
Prayers appreciated.

oh man!!... Prayers sent your way!....
I am so sorry and I will sure be remembering you and everyone else there in my prayers, the storms are bad enough but now people that will be losing their homes over the flood, I wish you all to stay safe!!
Oh wow......you got it!!!
Oh, Patti, I am so glad to hear there was no damage. Our thoughts are with you!
Wow! Never even thought it would have affected you guys when I heard it on the news this a.m. Mother Nature is on a rant, for sure. Sending prayers & hugs.. Tammy
We didn't feel anything here the other morning, but we are watching the River.
In '93 the water creeped into our neighborhood to within three houses of our backyard. However, since this is a hilly city it would take an awful lot of water to get much closer this time. Fingers Crossed ! ! !
Don't ya love these cicadas ! ! !
hugs
Gerry
What's Mother Nature doing to us? I remember the '93 flood very well. We were in Chaffee for a baseball tournament my son was in and heard people taking about the levies possibly breaking and flooding there. It didn't happen, but sure made me nervous. I remember thinking I'd never seen the water so high. And the earthquake makes me wonder when the Big One will hit. Prayers will definitely be said.
oops...should be "talking" not taking. Sorry.
Do you think God is trying to get our attention? What a strange year for weather, all over it seems. We were cold and grey for so long.....today was hot, humid, windy, and 102! In Minnesota, mind you!
Definitely praying for you and your area of the country. Stay strong!
I cannot imagine the flood being worse than the 1993 flood - but they say it will be. I feel so bad for all of our farmer friends and everyone else who will be impacted.
We did not feel a thing when the earthquake hit. The first we heard about it was when we were halway to St. Louis. It definitely has been a strange Spring (following a strange winter).
