A day with Mother

Today we had an evaluation of Mother regarding her stay at
Summit Villa assisted living. Since the meeting was over at
lunch time we ate with her. It was Shepard's pie and Broccoli salad.

We were looking forward to the Pineapple cake for dessert. But that was cancelled when birthday cake was brought in for Mrs. Scott's 94th celebration.

After lunch back at Mom's room she shows off her Christmas tree. It's really nice that it hangs on the wall. You could say it's half of a tree.

I took one of my Christmas quilts and a pin strip dust ruffle over for her bed.

Here is her home in Holt Summit.

What a beautiful place Patti. And I love that you took her a Christmas quilt. I wouldn't have thought of that but it's a perfect idea. blessings, marlene

What a cute idea for a tree and I love the Christmas quilt! I'll have to show that to my mom..or maybe I better wait until she finishes the wedding quilt first!

Be well! ~Andrea~
