Look what I got!!!

The blacksmith made us a pot rack! We had wanted one for years. We never found the design that would work best in our timber frame home. However, last week he came up with this design.

Here is the studio picture our DIL took. It's so nice having a professional in the family.

Elizabeth today with her cute sunglasses on.

This picture might look like this
one. That was from 2009.

Or like one in this post. That was August 2008.
The blacksmith left today on his annual muzzle loader squirrel hunt. This is his 40th year to go. It's a free week for me! I hope I get a lot accomplished.
On a personal note, Lane had surgery today to have shunt put in. Keep him in your prayers.

It looks great, Patti. What a collection of cast iron pans!

I hope you enjoy your week of semi-leisure.

Dang Patti I want one! That looks great. I have always wanted a pot rack in one of my kitchens. It would look great here. Don't know how we would do it. Maybe some kind of beam is in my future :) I am tired of bending over, sliding out the drawer and diggin through to find the right pan.

I am going to be having some alone, free to be me time this week too. Doubt that I will get much good accomplished but I'm going to enjoy it.

Still praying.

If I didn't have vaulted ceilings, I would sooo have him make me one!

Very nice! After looking at all your pans, now I have a craving for some cornbread! ;)

Thanks for keeping us updated on Lane... poor baby.

I wish I had room for one of those! Awesome. You have a lot of cast iron - even more than I do!

Hope Lane is still improving.

If I didn't have so much going on this week, catching up on my playing last week, I'd say this would be a good time to do some serging...
