A little sewing

Remember this fabric? Well this past weekend, despite having three grand kids in the house, I did get some sewing done.

I did some tweaking of the pattern and made it look like our little Casita and my red jeep cherokee.

Now if I can only find some time to make it into a quilt for our little camper!

On a completely different subject, look what my sister bought for me today! Don't they just scream my name? Not. Anyway, they fit just fine and now I have a whole year to work on an outfit for them for the 2nd annual Osage Bend Halloween party. Thanks Lona.

How's your weather where you live? Here in Mid-Missouri it was 76 degrees at noon, at 10 PM it's now 45 degrees and by morning it's suppose to be 31 degrees. Now you know where the statement "If you don't like the weather just stick around" came from.

Wow, love your Casita on the fabric. Great idea!

And I agree about the temps yesterday. Kansas City got it first, but we're happy to pass it on your way. LOL

Ooh, the fabric is too cute! The boots, um... I breathed a sigh of relief when you said they would be part of a Halloween costume! haha! They are perfect for that! ;)

Here... highs in the upper 70's and lows in the 60's. My air conditioner is still coming on. This may be one of those years where we wear shorts to go get our Christmas tree! :)

Cute camping quilt.
I want to see pictures of you in those boots, with the pink on them I thought maybe you were going to do a Relay for Life walk in them. NOT

Have a great Thanksgiving

It's warm here too Patti but the temperature is dropping and the high tomorrow is in the 40s I think. I'm planning to come your way Friday and stay will Wednesday if everything works out. My ex sister in law, that we're all still close to, had a heart attack last night and doesn't look good so that might impact my trip. I used to have your phone number but it's nowhere to be found now. If you'll send it I'll try to call and maybe we can meet up. blessings, marlene

Oh your Casita is so cute! As are the pink boots!

We had 10 degrees this morning...... it's 16 right now and we're expecting a storm tomorrow, just in time for Thanksgiving travel. Is it time to go to Arizona yet?

Fabulous weather here in Tennessee as well.
Now, I have to say this... your sister should be BANISHED for giving you those shoes! I mean BANISHED< SHUNNED< MADE TO SIT IN THE CORNER!!!! Unless of course it was a joke, and if so, you should bake her a nice pie. Because they are very funny indeed.

Your quilt is looking really good.

And those boots are to die for - especially for Halloween.

She really madamed you in the same breath she was asking for ID? That is hilarious. You do like mighty young, you know...

How about today's weather? I thought I was going to blow off the highway!
