First Deer Taken this season

At 9:30 AM this morning I got a call from Brady, who was still in the woods. "Grandma I got an 8 pointer."

Off I went with my camera.

Here he shows the one bullet that took it down. He is so proud!

There is a tradition that a snickers miniature brings you good luck. It worked!

Dad and Grandpa go to tackle the dirty work!
Congratulations Grandson on your second deer.

Congratulations to Brady! I know he is proud to kill his first deer. What an occasion just in time for Thanksgiving! Good job!

Well, I don't understand the whole deer hunting thing, but I suppose congratulations are in order. Hubby use to do a fair amount of hunting when we lived in Alabama, but thankfully he doesn't get to do it much anymore. HAHA! :)

Congratulations to Brady on the trophy buck. Thanks for sharing all the pictures. Your grand kids are so lucky to have these memories that they will treasure forever. The food made me hungry and I just had breakfast. I'd like to know more about those pickled eggs. Good luck to all the other deer hunters.

Wow! That will be a picture for him to keep. My little brother (24 years old) got an eight point buck in north Greene County, but my husband, dad, and father-in-law have had no luck this year.
