What's for breakfast tomorrow?

Look at what BT found for me after dinner tonight! If you look close there are two little mushrooms. I already had one chillin' in the refrigerator. After this picture he found 3 more. Just enough to add to my omelet in the morning.

I was on my way outside to photograph Elizabeth's quilt, when I saw the mushroom hunter. I've had the quilt finished for a week or so, but I'd never could remember to take pictures of it.

I like to paper piece the year the quilt was made. It has become my signature. On the border of this I machine quilted the words "made for Elizabeth by Grandma Tappel". Some day maybe an historian will find the words and like the hubby says . . .wonder who Grandma Tappel is.

The back of the quilt is a beautiful piece of paisley print, I found in the remnant bin at Hobby Lobby. If you enlarge the picture you can see the detail.

10 PM 45 degrees. Will spring ever get here?

Arrrgh!! Enough with the mushrooms already... we're still waiting patiently up here north of you. Preston says the fertilizer is better down your way. Not sure what he means by that?? :)
That quilt is gorgeous btw. About the slide show (which you must have with quilts and grandkids and the like... ) - I think it's just one of those 'gadget' things you can add within the blog. Let me know if you don't find it. Enjoy those mushrooms! -tammy & preston

The quilt is just perfect! I'm wondering about spring too-it was here for a week or so and then winter came back.

Thanks for Lizzie's hug!

Still waiting for the telltale may apples out our way. I'm hoping for a big haul though!
Eggs and mushrooms: good for every meal! Oh! Don't forget the asparagus! Mmmmm.
