Baby count down

It's just 2 weeks until the little princess is due. I've been busy sewing.

This is a wall hanging to go over her changing table.

Two pillow cases for her.

A dresser scarf. And then there the diaper hanger I made, the curtains, 2 fitted sheets, and her dust ruffle. I just forgot to take a picture of those.

Tomorrow I am mailing a piece of her quilt fabric to my friend Sheila. She will get a call as soon as the little girl is named. Sheila will then put a monogram on the fabric so that I can sew it into the quilt.

I better get busy, I'm still working on the quilt.

I can hardly wait to hold her.

Oh by the way, her little 4 year old brother wants to name her Sparky!

Sparky could be a cute nickname?

Very pretty stuff. I love the darker green with the pink.

Those last couple days are always the longest!

Sparky sounds like a perfect name to me. :) Cute stuff - and I know she'll love it! blessings, marlene

I love that you have used black with pink (is it black or navy?). At any rate a very dark with pink. Seeing such a strong, grounding color will help her to develop those personality characteristics -- my witchy opinion.
And as usual my cousin and I have the exact same opinion - I was even going to use the exact same comment: "Sparky sounds like a perfect name to me." Kiss the baby for me (and her brother) - my babies think they are too old for Oma kisses.

The little princess is lucky to have you!! I can't believe it's only 2 weeks. Time so flys.

I must say Sparky will have quite the fashionable nursery! You are doing a great job. Is the color scheme brown and pink? That's what it looks like on my screen. I hope you show us a pic of everything once it and Sparky are in the room!

I like Sparky, too. Cute, perky - who could be unhappy with a name like that? Looks like you're all set - once the pretty things are ready, what else is there to do?

When my cousin was little he swore they were going to name his little brother "running dog jumped over the water". HA! Kids.
