Farm Livin'

Green acres is the place to be.
Farm livin' is the life for me.
Land spreadin' out so far and wide.
Keep Manhattan, just give me that countryside.

"Country life" in our front yard.

The hen turkey and baby resting in the front yard.

And I'll have you know I risked my life taking these pictures. I climbed a bar stool with a bum arm. The stool was placed next to the front door to take a photo through the transom glass where there wasn't a screen. Nothing is impossible for my readers!
Check out the country life at
Judy's too.

I LOVED that show as a kid! I hadn't thought about it in forever, but I could still sing you the song. :)

How cool! The only time we see a turkey in our yard is when he's high-tailing it outa here. Those pictures are fantabulous, and thank you for risking your life and limb for us! My favorite is of the two strutting off together. -tammy p.s. take care of that 'wing' and heal up fast!

Farm Livin is for me too!! I love your blog! My mom is a quilter...I'm still working on basic sewing...but I thought I would post about some of her work soon. She's currently working on her biggest project, a quilt - a wedding gift for me. She just finished my dress so she got a little sidetracked. I'll forgive her. : )
Be well! ~Andrea~
