Thursday night live, downtown Jefferson City MO

Little guys grow up.

Last week, we did something that we hardly ever do, nightlife. The son of friends of ours (long time friends, we go back almost 40 years together) was playing in a battle of the blue grass bands in town. So we hopped in the Jeep and went to a street party.

The above collage shows Nick with his Dad, playing with our son Jeremy, with his Mom, and just enjoying one of our many camping trips.

Oh yes and he does have a little sister, Jessie.  She is all grown up now too.

Nick is now 30 something, owns a bike shop in town, and plays in a bluegrass band.

Nick's band, The Dirt Leg Benders took first place and then second place out of three bands. You figure that one out.

Can you tell between the two of us, we have had 2 small light beers, 1 chocolate beer, one 7-up, a diet coke and one sweet tea. Such party people we are.
Kas
This gal was one of my grade school classmates. She's amazing, and I won't tell anyone that next year we will both have completed our sixth decade of life. You go Kas!!

The street party after the other street party.

We hope to make this a weekly event. It was just that much fun. Fun music, hola hooping, people watch and a few drinks make for good times.

Take a listen.
