MY Sewing quilt

After hording, I mean collecting, sewing theme fabric for several years, I have completed my Sewing Quilt.

I found the panel by my favorite fabric designer J. Wecker Frisch earlier this year. I knew then I was ready to start putting a quilt together.

Would you believe she is a Missourian?!

This is the panel that I started with.

I love the retro machine fabric!

The printed blocks with old advertisements were designed by J. Wecker Frisch too, and the fabric is sold under Riley Blake designs. It is available in some quilt shops.

I found it at Bits & Pieces, in Fulton, Missouri. She has a nice selection of Riley Blakes fabrics.

My love for vintage machines is apparent!

Look at the fussy cut fabrics! Spools of threads, straight pins, and thimbles, just to name a few.

Flying geese is always a fun block.

Then add in flying geese in a circle!

Of course, I added paper piece borders to this advertisement.

An Etsy purchase, Pin cushion. Paper pieced pattern of course.

I had several "Singer" fabrics in my stash.

From Etsy, I purchased the sewing machine fabric.

 II Corinthians 9 6

"Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully."

The designer always works a bible verse in her fabrics!  I think this is so cool.

I found in my stash of patterns, this paper pieced scissors. I'm not sure who to give credit to. I love the scissor fabric around it. It makes me think of my friend Grace Horne from Sheffield, England. She makes the most astonishing scissors.

Someday, I will hand quilt it.
