AACB 2022 Conference

Once again, we went to the Appalachian Area Chapter of Blacksmiths conference in Murfreesboro, Tennesse. This time we had several BAM members from Missouri attending!

We set up under our new canopy. A well-made canopy, nice and sturdy. Note to self, bring tie downs and or weights next time.

This was part of the forging contest.

Twinning  Patties!

Buzz is always fun to egg on!

Oh the things you see for sale in the tail gating area.

This is our version of a charcuterie board. It was the best I could do with deer sausage, cheese and crackers and a rubber tote.

Bernie and Billybob had a great chat, while I watched over the sales table.

Billybob makes some beautiful folding knives.

Our first time meeting Billybob Sowell.  We have a lot of friends in common!

This after the canopy went sailing away.

This was just before a hug, that I had to take for our mutual friend Ed from the state of Washington.

This is what Missouri Blacksmiths do while waiting over an hour for a table.
Of course the women did the same thing on the other end of the sidewalk.

Some thought the men were waiting for a massage as the near by sign indicated.

The food at Mi Patria did not disappoint! The margarita after an hour and a half wait was much appreciated.

The Taco el Pastor was possibly the best I've had. The big chunks of grilled pineapple were juicy and grilled perfect.

See you in two years in Murfreesboro, maybe next year in Georgia!
